53 Percent of White People Still Approve of Trump, According to a Recent Poll

A new poll has revealed that Donald Trump somehow has the highest approval rating since his first 100 days in office. The Washington Post/ABC News poll has determined that 40 percent of respondents approve of whatever Trump is doing on the White House, while 56 percent disapprove of his performance.

However, 53 percent of all white respondents to this poll approve of how Trump is doing as president, up seven points from January's poll. In comparison, a wide majority of racial and ethnic minorities are on the other side of the coin, as 79 percent disapprove of the president's work in office.

The results come after another tumultuous week for the Trump administration. The office of Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen was raided by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, who obtained records related to Stormy Daniels that includes relevant payments, the alleged Russian involvement in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, and more. The FBI also reportedly seized audio recordings of Stormy Daniels' lawyer at the time and Cohen.

Of the majority of Americans that live in rural parts of the country, 59 percent also approve of Trump's performance. As far as how Trump is handling the nation's economy, respondents were pretty split: 46 percent of respondents approve of how he is handling the economy and 48 percent do not.

The poll was conducted April 8-11 and recorded the responses of 1,002 adults. There is a 3.5 percentage-points margin of error.

The FBI Reportedly Has Audio of Donald Trump and Stormy Daniels’ Lawyers Meetings

The FBI may have the ultimate receipts on the scandal between Donald Trump and Stormy Daniels.

During the FBI's raid of Trump's lawyer's office, CNN reports they seized audio recordings between Stormy Daniels' laywer at the time, Keith Davidson, and Trump's current lawyer, Michael Cohen. Davidson also represented Playboy model Karen McDougal, who, like Daniels, is rumored to have had an affair with Trump.

A CNN source gave some details on the audio recordings, but no smoking gun. “Cohen was being unusually simplistic, like he had bullet points that he was reading from to try and make himself look good. He was trying to clarify the timeline of the agreements made with Davidson in his [Cohen's] favor,” said the source.

However, even if there's no wrongdoing found in the recordings, it could lead to other legal issues for Cohen. As CNN notes, recording phone conversations without two consenting parties is illegal in certain states, like California where Davidson's office is based. And Davidson has no issue in suing Cohen if that's the case.

Attorney Davidson never consented to any recordings of his conversations with Mr. Cohen. If they in fact do exist, Attorney Davidson will pursue all his legal rights under the law,” said a spokesman for Davidson, Dave Wedge.

But that may be the least of Cohen's troubles as the Department of Justice says Cohen is “under criminal investigation” not only for his possible dealings with Daniels, but bank fraud, wire fraud and campaign finance issues as well. Cohen's court hearing is scheduled for Monday—and Daniels' current lawyer, Michael Avenatti told The Associated Press that it’s “very possible” the porn star will make an appearance. The tea is hot and it's brewing.

Tiffany Haddish Will Never Spill the Tea on #WhoBitBey Because She Signed an NDA

As much as we beg, Tiffany Haddish is not going to tell us who sank their teeth into our beloved Beyoncé. That’s because, as she explained in an Instagram Live session, the comedian signed a non-disclosure agreement on the matter. Bey is notorious for using NDAs and locking down info that is strictly need-to-know, so this revelation comes as no surprise. “NDAs are real, so I’m not saying shit about nothing,” Haddish said on Instagram while getting her hair done.

Haddish teased her viewers, who were obviously watching with bated breath, waiting for the scalding tea. “You wanna know who bit Beyoncé? I’m gonna just tell you all. And it’s the last time I’m talking about it, I ain’t going to say nothing else about it. Let me sip some of my tea,” she said while sipping a glass of water. “I’m going to tell you who did it then I’m never talking about it again because really it’s done. People should be focusing on the real issues at hand, like did you do your taxes? Because taxes is due real soon. Can your children read and write? Have you been working with them on their reading and their writing? Is your house clean? That’s what we need to be focusing on. But y’all wanna know, everybody’s going crazy about who bit Beyoncé. I’m going to tell you so this can all be done with.”

The Girls Trip star then made a fool of all who were watching. “I’m going to tell you who bit Beyoncé: it was Stormy Daniels,” she joked. Nice one, Tiff. “Pay attention to what’s really going on!” she said. “That’s not real news—Who bit Beyoncé is not real news!”

Bey herself, according to a source close to the singer, doesn’t want her assailant to face the Beyhive’s wrath. But many, like Chrissy Teigen and myself, just want to know because we’re curious. Unlike Chrissy, most of us not famous or well-connected enough to figure it out on our own (please Chrissy, we’re desperate).

So far Lena Dunham, Sara Foster, and Sanaa Lathan have all been suspected culprits—and all three have denied the claims. But Haddish does have a point. Could all this time spent on finding Bey’s assailant have been put to better use? Is this emblematic of our desperation to focus on anything but our crumbling government? Does it even matter #WhoBitBey?

Of course it does! Hopefully someone cracks and finally gives us the goods.

What Has Kanye West Been Up to in Wyoming?

Over the weekend, fans spotted Kanye West out in Wyoming once again. Rumors circulated last year that 'Ye had been “holed up” somewhere on a mountaintop (not that mountaintop), working on the follow-up to 2016's The Life of Pablo. We haven't gotten any new music since then, and it wasn't clear exactly where he was in Wyoming, but now a picture is starting to form.

TeamKanyeDaily have been kind enough to point out that there's now photographic proof of Kanye in Wyoming, and he's in the town of Jackson. With a population of just over 10,000, it's definitely a lot more secluded than Chicago or Los Angeles.

Kanye and Kim with a fan in Jackson, Wyoming. March 10.

A post shared by TeamKanyeDaily (@teamkanyedaily) on Mar 11, 2018 at 10:02am PDT

A fan managed to grab a picture with Kanye and Kim, confirming that he's at least been visiting Wyoming. However, with frequent collaborator Travis Scott also posting a picture of him hitting the slopes at a nearby ski resort, it's looking more and more likely Kanye has been in the studio working on new music.

Debuting some stylish pink hair matching Kim's, it's worth pointing out that 'Ye and Travis aren't the only ones spotted in Jackson, Wyoming in the past week. King Louie, The-Dream, and Tony Williams have all been hanging out, too. It remains to be seen on if they're working on a new album for Kanye or wrapping up Travis' long-awaited AstroWorld, but either way it's a good bet they've been in the studio.

If it is a new Kanye album, however, should we expect the (currently) cold and remote surroundings to impact the sound of the music? Yeezy famously recorded the lavish My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy at Avex Honolulu Studios, booking three sessions for 24 hours a day until it was finished. He also started recording the gruff and experimental Yeezus in Paris, and it's easy to see the influence of high-fashion on the still groundbreaking release. Ditto Watch the Throne's international origins and and world-dominating mentality.

So will Kanye give us an album that really sounds like it's been recorded in the middle of nowhere, or is he just looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life? Whatever he does give us, it's probably going to be incredible.

Lil Wayne and Birdman Hug It Out in Public

Lil Wayne and Birdman have a complicated relationship, to say the least.

Wayne's $51 million lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money is still on and the fate of Tha Carter V remains precarious, but every once in awhile, the two are spotted being friendly with each other in public and fans excitedly hope it means the beef has been finally squashed.

This weekend, the cycle repeated itself as video surfaced of Wayne and Birdman hanging out at Club LIV and greeting each other with a hug.

According to TMZ, the two arrived at the Miami club separately on Sunday, during a night in which Lil Wayne performed with 2 Chainz on stage. While Meek Mill's “Dreams and Nightmares” played in the background, though, they seemed to be getting along. As some might remember, this actually isn't the first time they've publicly reunited at Club LIV. They were seen together at the nightclub back in early 2016 as well.

Of course, this video arrives only a week after Wayne dropped a song that many people thought included a Birman diss, so the hug doesn't necessarily mean everything has been completely smoothed over—especially since the lawsuit is still on.

In an Aug. 21 interview with Q93, Wayne claimed that he can drop Tha Carter V whenever he wants, though. He explained, “Of course you’re going to see Tha Carter V. Man, I just don’t want to put it out the wrong way. Honestly, man, I can do what I want honestly at any time. The fans deserve it to be right and that’s how it’s gonna be. I’ma make sure it’s right. I can drop whatever I want to drop. I keep dropping whatever I want to drop. But I’m not gonna give ’em Carter V the wrong way.”

Birdman also said the long-awaited album is coming soon, telling Rap-Up last month, “Without a doubt. You will get [the album] this year. It’s gonna be well worth the wait.”

So, things are still complicated. And it's likely that it'll take more than a hug to smooth everything over between these guys, but fans are hoping this means we're one step closer to finally hearing Tha Carter V.

Lawyer Reportedly Paid Porn Star Hush Money for Sexual Encounter With Trump

If we know one thing about President Trump, it's that he's a con artist. Since he took office, the Washington Post has kept track of the number of lies he's told under oath; on Jan. 10, days before he's completed one year as our president, he's already logged 2,001 fictitious claims, a truly absurd feat.

So it's no surprise that when a new report from Wall Street Journal surfaced, citing that a longtime lawyer for the Trump Organization paid $130,000 to a porn star over a sexual encounter she had with Trump in 2006—Trump denied it.

The report states that Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, “arranged a $130,000 payment to a former adult-film star a month before the 2016 election as part of an agreement that precluded her from publicly discussing an alleged sexual encounter with Mr. Trump.” Both Trump's lawyer and Stephanie Clifford—known as Stormy Daniels in the adult film industry—deny the encounter as well.

These sort of charges aren't new for Trump. During his presidential campaign, more than a handful of women lodged sexual assault allegations against him, and during the more recent, viral #MeToo campaign, even more women came forward. While Clifford has admitted that her relationship with Trump was consensual, that certainly wasn't the case for the rest of these women whom he violated.
