Creamfields 2017 Unveils Full Headlining Lineup With Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, The Chainsmokers & Much More

For the 20th anniversary of Creamfields, festival organizers spared no expense in rolling out what might be the heaviest festival lineup in Europe when it comes to sheer star power in the dance acts. In fact, there are so many headliners that the festival’s main poster is literally just a poster of all headliners cross genre.

The festival will take place across four days from Thursday, August 24th Sunday the 27th. Now take a deep breath and get a hold of this ‘headliner lineup.’ Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, The Chainsmokers, deadmau5 & Eric Prydz, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Diplo, DVBBS, Hardwell, Marshmello, Martin Garrix, and Tiësto.

And that’s not to speak of other major dance acts like Jauz, Galantis, Tchami, Alesso, Axwell Λ Ingrosso, Nicky Romero, Oliver Heldens, KSHMR, Steve Angello and more. While Idris Elba might not be a superstar DJ by any means it looks like he’s also been given the ‘headliner’ treatment here.

KSHMR Shares Preview Of New Song On Facebook

KSHMR rose in popularity throughout 2016 with ferocity – from playing a massive set at Coachella to releasing his debut extended EP, he’s consistently hit every benchmark for a growing artist, let alone one who’s already established.

It comes as no surprise that he’s producing more music in 2017, and he’s just shared a quaint snippet of a new track via Facebook. Featuring softly plucked guitar strings, and resembling a bard’s song from medieval times, with an Indian flair, of course, this untitled track has our hair standing on end.

The Chainsmokers Release Their Epic Coachella Aftermovie

The more I watch the aftermovie from The Chainsmokers’ time at Coachella, the more I’m convinced they actually had the best dance music set at the festival. Yes, Jack U was pretty dope – but it was standard. Yes, Flume is… Flume. But he didn’t really play anything news. We can go on about Zhu, about RL Grime, and KSHMR and Tchami and whoever else. But honestly, The Chainsmokers fucking crushed it and there’s absolutely no denying that.

Even in terms of special guests, I would say that The Chainsmokers beat Disclosure and Calvin Harris. Like, come on… Third Eye Blind!? Who saw that coming!?!

Between the variety of music they played, the energy they showed on stage, and all the special moments and people, The Chainsmokers – if they weren’t before – are now on absolutely everyone’s radar. I wouldn’t be afraid to bet that we’ll see them headlining some festivals next year.

Coachella Has Added A Bunch Of Videos To Their Official YouTube Page

This year’s Coachella, like every year’s Coachella to be honest, will go down in the record books. Let’s count it, shall we?

Jack Ü’s Coachella debut; KSHMR’s Coachella debut; ZHU’s creepy announcement; Kesha’s return to live performance; Sia’s live show; Calvin Harris’s headlining DJ set; the reunion of (most of) N.W.A.; Major Lazer bringing Usher on stage; Gallant bringing Seal on stage; and probably so many more.

But for all of those moments you missed, what now?

Coachella has added a TON of videos to their YouTube channel. The vast majority of them are clips of big moments, but even those, for those of you who couldn’t catch any of it at all, should help to alleviate some of the FOMO.

See all of the videos here.
