Kwon – Reflection Pool [Free Download]

When you’re friends with Jai Wolf, Stephen, Manila Killa, and Imad Royal it would be hard not to make some dope music. Justin Kwon, known as Kwon to his fans, is friends with those people, so it follows that his music would be on point. He proves this hypothesis with his newest release “Reflection Pool“.

This new single combines elements of future bass with some 80s synth vibes. Beginning with simply a crunchy bass line and a kick/snare combo, the track slowly evolves into a full fledged future bass jam. Vocal chops come in to give the tune a distinct melody, woven between the established beat. As the drop hits, future bass inspired synths kick in with the vocal melody and a Flume sounding lead synth that will stick in your brain the rest of the day.

Oliver Heldens & Diplo Get Into Hilarious Twitter Beef Over New Major Lazer Remix

Here at Your EDM, we’re no strangers to Twitter beef. From Deadmau5 to The Chainsmokers, Seth Troxler to The Black Madonna, we’ve seen it all. Today, we bring you a fresh cut slab of beef courtesy of Diplo and Oliver Heldens.

Granted, this one is a lot calmer than the one between Jai Wolf, Ghastly & company this past weekend, but there’s still some hilarious ribbing going on – even Dillon Francis joins for a jab or two. For the record, we completely agree with Heldens that the “Shape Of You” remix definitely leaves something to be desired.

With that being said, check out the tweets below and enjoy.

As for the tiny penis comment made by Diplo, it seems he might still be feeling a little raw from this Lorde burn back in 2014.

Louis The Child Brings Manila Killa, Jai Wolf & More Out For Epic Holy Ship B2B

How many people can you realistically fit behind the decks at a show? Holy Ship! tries to answer that question every year. Though they had some massive B2Bs on both 8.0 and 9.0 this year, one was just uploaded to Soundcloud that we’re super excited about.

Louis The Child b2b Big Gigantic b2b Slander b2b Ghastly b2b Jai Wolf b2b Manila Killa is something we never really even considered, but on Holy Ship!, anything is possible. LTC brings up Jai Wolf and Manila Killa to start, and everyone else kind of just trickles in over the course of the 105-minute set.

HARD Summer Is Now A Two-Day Camping Festival, Headliners Major Lazer & Ice Cube

HARD Summer just made some massive changes to their festival for 2016 after treating fans to an intense teaser. For starters, HARD Summer is now a two-day camping festival. Yep, you did not read that wrong. HARD Presents will take over the Auto Club Speedway between San Bernardino and Pomona on July 30 and 31 for two days of epic music.

The second change, which is more so just regular news, the festival will be headlined by Ice Cube and Major Lazer. HARD has been leaning toward hip hop for years now, but this marks the first top-billed hip hop performer. (Last year’s The Weeknd was nearly there.) Dillon Francis, who headlined HARD Summer last year, has been pushed down in favor of Major Lazer, an unarguably bigger name that has been absolutely dominating the festival circuit.

Making our way down to the supporting acts, on Saturday we have: Flosstradamus, Porter Robinson (no mention of live vs. DJ set), DJ Khaled, Claude VonStroke, Baauer, Tchami, Dizzee Rascal, Destructo, and Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals. On Sunday we have: Dillon Francis, Travis Scott, Zeds Dead, Madeon, Boys Noize, DJ Mustard, AlunaGeorge, Kill The Noise, Kaytranada, and – damn, sonJai Wolf making his way to the second tier! (Congrats are in order, there.)

Going further down on the supporting acts, we have first time appearances from Slushii, Drezo, Kayzo, Ghastly, Oshi, Mura Masa, Bear Grillz, Slumberjack, Rezz, Unlike Pluto, Herobust and more.

Lastly, the event will return to 18+.

HARD Summer must have been working tirelessly to put this all together. And while this definitely isn’t a dream lineup (in all honestly, nothing ever really is), this lineup is absolutely massive and there’s no way around that.

New Skrillex Remix EP Leaked Early

Ease My Mind v Ragga Bomb Remixes

Due to an error on iTunes, the upcoming Skrillex Ease My Mind v Ragga Bomb Remixes EP has been released earlier than planned. Rumoured to be slated for a official release later this month the EP is jam packed full of quality. The EP contains 4 remixes from Skrillex & Zomboy, Teddy Killerz, GTA, and Jai Wolf.

The Skrillex & Zomboy remix should be special, seeing as they have such critically similar styles. This is the first collaboration they’ve been on together since the Foreign Beggars track “Still Getting It,” featuring Skrillex, remixed by ZomboyTeddy Killerz have always been known to throw down amazing eclectic tunes, and it seems Skrillex himself has been playing out the Jai Wolf remix extensively live.

You can check out the previews and buy the EP here: iTunes.
