Things get weird pretty fast in this deleted scene from the upcoming DVD and Blu-ray release.
Best Buy notified music suppliers that they will cease selling CDs at stores beginning July 1. The move is sure to hurt the already declining sales of CDs as consumers are switching to streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal in large numbers. CD sales have already dropped by a sizable 18.5 percent in the past year, Billboard reports.
Despite not carrying CDs, the company will continue to stock their shelves with vinyl, at least for the following year or two due to a commitment it made to vendors.
Target, on the other hand, is awaiting a response from music suppliers. The discount retailer has asked to be switched to scanned-based trading, which essentially translates to a type of consignment. Presently, the company pays for CDs upfront and shipping fees if they are unsold and returned to the supplier.
The switch would mean that the company wouldn't pay for the CDs until they have been sold or scanned at the register. Target has also asked the same of DVD video suppliers. If the CD suppliers don't acquiesce, Target may follow Best Buy's lead and remove CDs from its in-store inventory.
Billboard also points out that both Best Buy and Target have been reducing the number of music titles they have been carrying in recent years. Despite the dwindling number of CDs being carried, Target was able to move 500,000 physical copies of Taylor Swift's latest album Reputation. Not bad considering it was released in November of 2017.

‘All Eyez on Me’ is out now on Blu-ray, DVD, and other non-theater platforms.
The bombshell revelation comes as ‘The Lion King’ is set to be released in Blu Ray and DVD.
Get Out just came out on DVD last week. And so, really, it seems as good a time as any to catch up with the stars of Jordan Peele's directorial debut, which grossed almost $250 million on a budget of $4.5 million.
With that in mind, both Daniel Kaluuya and Allison Williams sat down with Collider to talk about the movie's success, how they're treated by the TSA now, and the much darker alternate ending (Spoiler Alert: the one where Chris goes to jail after strangling Rose) which almost made its way into the final film.
If you want to know just how that was exactly either buy the DVD or just watch this slightly two-minute clip someone tweeted out:
Asked if they understand why the ending was switched the stars lent their two cents, which is typically how interviews work.
“I think me and Jordan [Peele] were kind of like, 'This is the message.' Let's not relent. Let's go for it,” Kaluuya said. “I remember when I was on the set in the prison I was like, 'Jordan, are you really going to do this?' And he goes, 'I'm gonna do it.' And then as time went on just hearing about how it tested, I understood the change.”
“I did too [understand the change], I was bummed about it,” Williams added. “But I think everyone that saw it kind of got what the movie was trying to say. Because Jordan communicated everything throughout the movie so clearly, you almost didn't need that last moment. You just needed the thought of like, 'Oh my god it's the cops. Chris is so screwed.' And then to have that moment of, 'Oh no, wait, it's not the cops. He's not screwed.' And then you have Rose pretending to be the victim. I think it totally works the way it is. And you kind of have the best of all worlds all at once in the last minute.”
As for Peele, he previously said he changed the ending because he wanted a feel-good conclusion. “There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing the audience go crazy when Rod shows up,” he said back in early March.
Check out the rest of their interview above.

The Caribbean influence in Drake's music hit a high point on More Life, as the Toronto native reinterpreted island sound with both his voice and the production behind him. Unbeknownst to a lot of people, however, he also spliced in some satire to the album, courtesy of the Canadian YouTubers known as 4YallEntertainment.
The team behind the videos, who you can hear sampled briefly at the end of “Madiba Riddim” on More Life, just released the latest parody video in their “T-Dot Goon Scrap DVD” series. This episode was a very special one, because they somehow managed to get Drake to make a cameo, as well as producer Boi-1da.
Drake's acting chops definitely helped him out here, and this appearance is absolutely hilarious. He fits right in with the over-the-top, always on edge crew, and when he has the audacity to give their new DVD a 3/10 rating, he and the T-Dot Goons have a spirited debate. Of course, they find a way to spin his rating as a positive by the time his cameo is over:
The full video up top is definitely worth checking out, particularly if you like art direction inspired by Windows Movie Maker. These guys are pretty funny on their own, and Drake adds just a little bit extra and pushes the bit over the top. You can also watch the first episode below.
