Mase Says He Won ‘Unanimously’ in Cam’ron Battle

Just when we thought we were out, Mase has pulled us right back in.

The surprising and latest chapter in the decade-plus beef between former high school basketball teammates Mase and Cam'ron began late last week with Mase's out-of-nowhere diss song “The Oracle.” Cam fired back, and then they made up on Instagram, and it was over.

Or so we thought.

Following the peace overture, Mase jumped on Funk Flex's Instagram to, um, flex about how he won the battle.

“We’re not cool,” Mase wrote. “I shook his hand cause I won. That’s it. As a man that’s what you do after you win unanimously.”

Mase's take seems to match that of most observers. “The Oracle” was overwhelmingly well-received, while Cam's response “Dinner Time” wasn't nearly as loved, with listeners critiquing everything from the rhymes to the sound quality.

In addition to songs, the stars traded shots on social media, culminating in Cam'ron telling Mase to “go back home to Florida.”

It remains to be seen if the epically long battle (remember, Cam's Mase-bashing “Take 'Em to Church” came out in 2004) between the former Children of the Corn groupmates will continue after Mase's declaration of victory.

On Monday, Mase called into Hot 97 and reiterated his stance about not being cool with Cam. “It's just like Drake said, 'Free Meek Mill,' you think he means that?” he says around the 6:20 mark in the video below.

Cam’ron Claps Back at Mase With New Diss Track “Dinner Time”

Cam'ron didn't take long to respond to Mase's diss track “The Oracle” as he unleashes “Dinner Time” Saturday night.

The Harlem MC and Diplomats representative teased the The Heatmakerz-produced record on Instagram following the release of “The Oracle” and also made the claim that Mase was running a ponzi scheme when he transitioned out of rap to work as a pastor. Cam touches on that in “Dinner Time,” as well as calls into question Mase's true roots to Harlem:

“Why you talking Harlem? You from Jacksonville, Florida
I used to give you all my clothes don't you forget you was bummy
I fed you when you was hungry, that's just dummy
But the shit he said next, I swear it ain't funny
Said kid, 'I'm a deacon, them deacons be getting money'
That's blasphemous, word to Jesus and Lazarus
You got bad karma, stay away, he hazardous
Collection plate, money in his pocket, he a klepto

There's also a line that's a direct response to Mase claiming Cam had sex with his own sister. “I ain't got a sister, only sister I fucked was yours,” Cam raps. For what it's worth, Mase's sister previously denied that happened.

Cam also alleges Mase was involved in some type of sexual activity with a dildo at Puff Daddy's house, who Mase has been aligned with since the Bad Boy days in the late '90s. “So you gon' tell me when you was staying with Puff, and I came over there and used the bathroom there wasn't a dildo on the sink?”

“Hope Y'all enjoy da facts,” Cam'ron wrote on IG. “No fake sisters..etc.. just da dildos on ya sink, when u was living wit puff, the Cory Wright, rock from Jefferson, and blinky blink, slaps etc. now go back home to Florida.”
