A Look at All the Dope Props From ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’

The second installment of the Kingsman series, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, debuted at the top of the North America box office earlier this year with a star-studded cast and a ton of action to keep viewers satisfied.

We traveled to London to get an up-close look at the props that were used in the film, including rare kicks from adidasMr Porter, the actual rifle Channing Tatum used on set, and a mine-detecting baseball bat. Check out the full scoop in the video above.

Supreme, Champion & adidas in the MoMA: Streetwear That Changed the World

Items: Is Fashion Modern? is a fashion and design exhibit on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and in it there are several pieces of streetwear and sneakers that have redefined style culture, including ones from Nike, Supreme, adidas, Converse, Champion, and other iconic brands.

Complex News got a first-hand look at the exhibit, as well as spoke with Senior MoMA curator Paola Antonelli, who organized the exhibit.

“When I got here, I noticed that there was no fashion in an otherwise amazing design collection,” Antonelli said. “I started keeping a list that I used to call 'garments that changed the world,' and of course it had the white T-shirt, Converse, Nike, Levi's 501, all the garments that you think are the pillars of modern design when it comes to fashion. And that's how the exhibit happened.”

Check out the full video above where Antonelli talks about Kanye West's influence in the design and fashion world, as well as the heated arguments that took place on what made the final cut for the sneaker side of the exhibit.

H&M Accused of Biting Vetements and Gosha Rubchinskiy

Ripping off designs from pricier and more desirable brands is, unfortunately, a pretty common occurrence in the world of fast fashion. H&M is at the center of the latest controversy, with some accusing the retail company of biting recognizable looks from Russian fashion designer Gosha Rubchinskiy and Parisian design collective Vetements.

As spotted by High Snobiety Tuesday, H&M has recently thrown some Gosha and Vetements-esque looks into stores. Among the H&M items being drawn into the ripoff accusations are hoodies, t-shirts, and socks. Take a look at the items in question below.

To be fair, the font stylings that have come to be associated with Vetements (H&M's Love tee comes the closest to this) are heavily inspired by the bloody, dramatic font choices of '80s metal bands. As for the Gosha vibes of the socks (see image up top), that one has nothing at all to do with metal.

Regardless, the controversy is likely to continue, particularly in light of recent events. Earlier this month, Gucci reportedly hit another fast-fashion provider with a lawsuit. Refinery 29 reported that Forever 21 had been sued by the Italian brand for allegedly using its trademarked stripe design without permission. Last December, Gucci sent a cease-and-desist letter to Forever 21 asking them to discontinue the offending items. Instead, Forever 21 filed their own complaint against Gucci arguing that Gucci did not have a monopoly on “decorative stripes.” Adidas also sued Forever 21 for stripes-released reasons.

H&M did not immediately respond to Complex's request for comment.

NFL Prospect Missed Out on Winning an Island Because He Wore Nike Cleats Instead of adidas

How loyal are you to your favorite sneaker brand? Would you pass up a prize worth a million dollars if it meant keeping your favorite shoes on your feet? It looks like Washington wide receiver and current NFL prospect John Ross would say yes to both those questions.

In the lead-up to this year's NFL combine, adidas promised to provide an island with a value of up to one million dollars to any prospect who broke the 40-yard dash record:

Ross did just that on Saturday morning. His official time was recorded at 4.22 seconds, besting the previous record (4.24) set by running back Chris Johnson in 2008. The NFL put together this cool comparison footage, where you can see Ross fly by NFL stars Julio Jones and Odell Beckham Jr. at their respective combines:

Thankfully for adidas, they made sure to include some stipulations in the fine print, and Ross will not be leaving Indianapolis with ownership of an island. The prize winner would have had to wear adidas cleats during the record-breaking performance to be eligible, and Ross had Nike cleats on his feet when he earned his spot in the record books.

To the average person, that might seem like a bummer. But Ross doesn't seem too worked up about it, and claimed he wouldn't be able to take advantage of the island anyway:

His time of 4.22 will make the headlines, but NFL teams clocked him with even better times, according to several reporters attending the scouting event.

Ross was already being mocked as a first-round talent prior to breaking the record, and his name is going to continue bouncing around NFL front offices after Saturday's high-octane sprint.

Was it worth missing out on the big prize to wear the shoes he's most comfortable in? Only Ross can say for sure. But if a million-dollar island was on the line, most people would probably sacrifice brand loyalty for a piece of beachfront property.

Swedish House Mafia’s Last Show Ever At Ultra 2013 [Video]

10649084_1010627968963305_3437918529641673585_oFor this week’s flashback Friday, we are taken back to the end of an era. It’s coming up on almost two years since the disbandment of Swedish House Mafia and most of us have yet to move on from the transition. Yes, Axwell / Ingrosso are great and Steve Angello is also doing well, but I can’t help but feel a void that their individual acts cannot fill.

The reality of the situation is that for those who entered the EDM scene circa 2009-2011, Swedish House Mafia most likely played a vital role in their introduction and immersion in the EDM culture. With their departure, we are older and wiser and our tastes have changed and evolved; yet, as we look back on what it was like just a few years ago, we can’t help but get a good kick in the nostalgia feels.

Relive the end of the Swedish House Mafia below:
